Holiday 2010 CD

For the second year in a row, teenage boys living at the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, MA have released a Holiday CD that that includes several holiday songs as well as one song written, composed and recorded by Plummer Home staff and residents.  

 “When kids are in the music room, the immediate stressors of the day can fall into the background,” says Plummer Home instructor Aaron Katz.    “Creating and playing music allows them to focus on something personal and that they have control over.  Through music they are learning to listen to, rely on and trust themselves and others; a totally new experience for most of them.  This can be transformative.”
